Doubling Your Impact in December

December is going to be a little different.

In a typical month, CREDO donates to three progressive organizations, but in the aftermath of the 2016 election, we need to step up and do more. That’s why this month, we’ll be doubling our donations to over $300,000. And instead of allowing you to vote for three organizations, we’re inviting you to vote for three vital fights, each comprised of five nonprofits on the front lines.  

These groups, chosen because they are advancing the movement for Black lives, fighting for climate justice and standing up against Trump’s hate, were selected because of their effective grassroots activism. Learn more about these causes and organizations, then cast your December vote. 

The movement for Black lives is a political and social movement that seeks to end violence against Black people and Black communities in the United States and fights for freedom and collective liberation.

Advancing the Movement for Black Lives funding will go to the following organizations:
Black Alliance for Just Immigration
BlackOUT Collective
Black Youth Project 100
Center for Media Justice
Southerners on New Ground

Climate justice is one of the most pressing movements on the global stage. Slowing the warming of our planet by keeping fossil fuel in the ground will help  protect the communities who are disproportionately affected by climate change.

Fighting for Climate Justice funding will go to the following organizations:
Appalachian Voices
Climate Solutions
Honor the Earth
Louisiana Bucket Brigade
Rootskeeper

It is essential we do everything we can to stop the racist, misogynistic and xenophobic president-elect and to stand with and fight alongside every group that is threatened by Trump’s hateful agenda.

Standing Up Against Trump’s Hate funding will go to the following organizations:
Florida Immigrant Coalition
Mijente
Muslim Advocates
National Day Laborer Organizing Network
New Orleans Workers’ Center for Racial Justice
