Vote to support these groups in July
Every month CREDO donates a portion of our revenues to three progressive nonprofits. For July we have selected Earthjustice, Social Security Works and United We Dream.
How will the donations be distributed? You vote to decide.
Please take a minute to learn more about these groups below, then vote to tell us how you think we should divide up this month’s contributions. Vote for one, two or all three groups.
Earthjustice
Earthjustice uses the power of law to fight for a clean and healthy environment—because the earth needs a good lawyer.
Your vote will enable Earthjustice to continue providing free legal services to Native Americans, local communities and NGOs across the country, and continue to protect treasured ecosystems, national parks, estuaries and oceans. You will also help Earthjustice build on its successes in accelerating the transition to clean energy.
Social Security Works
Social Security Works (SSW) leads the movement to expand our Social Security system, using coalition organizing and mobilization tactics to demonstrate public support for retirement security.
Your vote will help fund production of state reports that detail the impacts of Social Security (plus Medicare and Medicaid) on each state. These reports are used by coalition partners and allies on the Hill. Your vote will also enable SSW to translate all state reports into Spanish.
United We Dream
United We Dream (UWD) is the fearless community of undocumented immigrant youth committed to breaking barriers, fighting back against hate in politics and training a new generation of progressive leaders.
Your vote will help UWD protect immigrant communities from criminalization and deportation by ICE raids while advancing the rights and protection of the immigrant community, promoting tuition equity laws and LGBTQ+ rights. UWD will also educate, motivate and mobilize Latino and immigrant voters.
Remember, your vote determines how we’ll distribute vital funding to these groups. Show your support for one, two or all three by voting before July 31.
