How CREDO members voted to donate $201,672 in September
In September, over 100,000 CREDO members voted to distribute $201,672 in donations to three amazing progressive groups. We’re pleased to share the results!
$79,721 to the Shell No! Fund. The fund was set up because we have to fight President Obama’s approval of Arctic drilling. CREDO directed 100% of the Shell No! Fund to support amazing groups, actions and organizing on the ground in this key moment to stop Pres. Obama and Shell from drilling the Arctic.
$69,274 to National Domestic Workers Alliance, the nation’s leading organization fighting for the dignity and fair treatment of the millions of domestic workers in the United States—most of whom are women.
$52,677 to Electronic Frontier Foundation, which is our first line of defense when our freedoms in the networked world come under attack. EFF is a leader in the fight to end illegal mass surveillance programs and is currently suing the NSA on behalf of AT&T customers.
Since 1985, we’ve donated $79,758,441 to the nation’s leading progressive nonprofits. Our members make these donations possible because every time they use our products and services, CREDO donates a portion of their bill to key nonprofit groups, at no extra cost.
CREDO Mobile, Credit Card and Long Distance members, plus CREDO Action petition signers are all eligible to vote. Not a part of CREDO yet? Sign a petition or join CREDO Mobile today.
